Starring Rolls Cafe

Starring Rolls is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast in Walt Disney World. Located on the corner of Sunset & Hollywood Boulevard, its a great place to take a break after the Toy Story Mania Dash. 

You enter the cafe & you are immediately greeted with baked goodness in the form of pastries, bagels, croissants, cupcakes, & more. We like to visit early in the morning because while I love it, its tiny inside & hard to navigate if its too crowded. But the cast members have always been really helpful & if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask.

On our visit in 2010 I got a cheese danish & Drew had a cherry turnover. Both were fantastic but were kind of your standard Disney bakery fare. On our next visit I decided to up the ante & had a cupcake for breakfast. I was on vacation after all. What I got was a dessert that I still speak about in hushed, reverent tones. Ladies & gentlemen I present to you the red velvet cheesecake cupcake.

Moist red velvet cake, cream cheese icing, topped with cheesecake, & surrounded by pieces of toffee. So, so good. Drew decided to have a chocolate eclair. His review was also positive & it must have been awesome because he ate it faster than the elevator drops at the Tower of Terror.

We have never been for lunch but they have some great looking sandwiches that Drew wants to try. Starring Rolls is a great place to start your day or take a break at Hollywood Studios. There are also some different cupcakes that I can't wait to try, I have my eye on the chocolate peanut butter one.
